Chapter 1 - Night Elf Encampment
----------------------------------
The wind died down last night, carrying only a gentle breeze,
sweeping up small leaves. Zen stared

at the ground. His 2 new companions slept on the other side of
camp. He didn't sleep, never did

since he was born. All he did was stay awake, only to watch his
back. His journey before, led him to

certain events that he could not hold in his heart. The sun had
rose, along a bright new day. Norris

stirred. His eyes opened and focused on a little sparrow nesting in
a nearby oak tree. Beside him laid

Terra, his human friend. They had both been companions since they
were but children. Chance

had allowed Norris to find Terra.

"You're awake," said a voice on the other side of the encampment.

"Yes, and with me, a rejuvenated soul." Norris replied happily. "Do
you not sleep Zen?"

"Only once, a long time ago."

"I see."

"Aye, so you did sleep?" Terra said. He had woken from his slumber,
awaken by the voices of his

companions.

"Maybe in a different lifetime, but no, not in my life have i ever
slept." Zen said quietly.

"We must continue journeying, for we all know that the Night Elves
close their encampment before

the Autumn Solstice." Norris said quickly. With these words, he
quickly got up and lifted his sack

and hooked it over his right arm. Terra had done the same, as did
Zen. Norris broke off into his usual

sprint, with Terra close behind him. Trailing in the front, was
Zen, with his 2 daggers on his side

of his hips, and sword tucked in a sack behind his back. As the
journeyed into the day, Norris

saw the Night Elf camp. They trailed closer and closer, until they
reached it. They stopped at a near

old oak door. Zen took one step and knocked the door with his hand.

"Friend or Foe? If friend then speak the statement." spoke a smooth
voice behind the door.

"Friend, the leaves fall and winter approaches," Zen replied. At
his words, the oak door opened

slowly, creaking to a loud stop. The air suddenly became filled
with laughter and excitement, making

Terra feel giddy. He ran to join them but was held back by Zen.

"Wait," he ordered. Terra struggled to break the grip but was held
fast. The laughter and music

stopped, and Terra's rage subsided, leaving him puzzled.

"The music will make you happy and have urge to dance, but if you
do, you cannot stop." Zen

explained. Terra looked down, ashamed by his behavior. Zen sensed
his sadness, and immediately

reassured him.

"It happens to everyone, i just blocked out the music with my mind."

They walked slowly forward and joined a table. Terra looked around
himself, looking at each elf

individual. Each female had long black hair, and nice eyes. He
caught Zen staring at one particular

female elf. She was the most beautiful of the rest. For a moment,
she stared at Zen, eyes fixed on

his details and face. Zen go up slowly and spoke to her, with one
swift motion, took her hand and

led her out to dance. It was the most beautiful thing Terra saw.
When the 2 sat back down,

Zen had started talking to her already. Terra crept up to them and
surprised them by cheering,

"Zen! Who's this lovely lady!"

Zen shifted quietly in his seat. "This, is my sister." Terra's
mouth dropped in wide open surprise.

"Sis, Sis . . .Sister?"

"Mhm. . ."

"Nice to meet you Terra!" Said the elf, holding out her flawless
hand. Terra shook her hand very quickly, savoring the smoothness of

her skin in those moments. Before she let go, Terra noticed a nice
golden bracelet on her hand. The elf took a glance at Terra, then
re-engaged her conversation with Zen. After the evening passed,

Terra and Norris were shown their rooms. The rooms were large, and
painted light blue, to match the roof, which was made out of

glass. 2 beds were positioned on the east and west sides of the
room. Each with feathers from a duck. In the middle of the room sat

a big cabinet, used for storing valuable objects. There was one
drawer that wouldn't opened or couldn't be destroyed unless the

master spoke its code;which was useful in the Assassination of
Gird. Where Gird was forced upon to open the special drawer.

But many do not know that it cannot be opened if its master was
forced upon. Such a rarity was this drawer that only 1 was made

every 100 years. And 4 of those drawers were put into a larger
drawer, to maximize its value. The drawer was embroidered with

diamond flowers and was encased in power krystal, the hardest and
most beautiful gem in the world known. The top laced

a beautiful handle. Its metal was cool and smooth. On the sides of
the drawer were 2 beautiful elves, that Terra realized were

Nevlen and Klysta. The two had been stranded on a small remote
island east of Kalister, the land of the dead. The two were
returning

home from a battle, when 2 dead mortifiers crept upon board from an
undead boat and slayed everyone in sight. Nevlen resorted to

burning down the boat and swam to shore with Klysta. Nevlen was
male, and Klysta was female. They bonded together on the island

and were eventually rescued by nearby High Elves, 5 years later.
The story had fascinated Terra when he was little.

Once they had gotten back on shore, they had bonded closely as a
man does to his wife, and had the

special ceremony performed, Traditional Banquet Of Eternity and
Life. In the very front of the room,

was a nicely embroidered window with decorative flowers. The window
faced the moon, and the rest of

the town below. As the moon cast its grave white light onto the
beautiful marble floor, Terra slowly

slugged to his bed, tired by the days events, Norris had done the
same, and was already napping in his.

As he was drifting off to sleep, he was startled by a sudden sound.
He quietly tip-toed out of his room,

sword in hand. Down in the hallway, he spotted Zen, arms wrapped
around another object, his face

crushed against it. Terra quickly caught on was happening and hid
behind a chair with robes dangling

down, obscuring him from view. A low moan had escaped Zen, and the
2 figures pushed back into a room

and closed the door, but not before one of the figures dropped a
bracelet on the floor. Terra advanced

quickly and snatched up the item and hurried back to his room. He
flipped the lamp next to his bed

to examine the bracelet. It was golden. Sudden revelation hit Terra
as he rushed through the bracelet.

It was the same bracelet as the one Zen's sister had! Sudden
commotion in the hallway told Terra that

Zen and his " friend " had entered the hallway looking for the lost
bracelet. Terra quickly stuffed it

into the cabinet that did not open to anyone except for the master,
in the case, was Terra. He sprinted

back to his bed, and barely had time to pull the blanket's cover
over him when the door opened, and

Zen and his sister walked in. Zen was taking small examinations
around the room, while his sister had

found a chair to sit on. Terra pretended to be startled by the
intrusion of the 2.

"Waz going on . . ." he said, slurring his words together.

"Have you been drinking, Terra?" Zen snapped back.

"Just a few drops."

"It's not good to drink a lot."

"Yes, yes, but it's good to have some, once in awhile."

"Yes, I see. I'll get straight to the point then, why we're here.
My sister lost her bracelet in the hallway,

any of you see it?

"And what time was she up?" Terra said accusingly. Zen blinked with
surprise at Terra. "Why do you need

to know?"

"Oh nothing." Terra replied, walking over to the cabinet that
encased the bracelet. "Unless it's here,"

Terra said, opening the cabinet with the words " open now". He
lifted the bracelet carefully in his hands

and presented it to Zen. I found this in the hallway, not to long
ago. Zen glared at Terra, cleared his

throat, and said, Terra, "Where were you at night today."

"Sleeping," was Terra's answer.

"And yet this bracelet was lost near midnight, which you claimed to
be " sleeping ".

"I was."

"Damn it Terra! Speak the truth!"

"You first."

"Hardly anything you need to know"

"Calm down, men," Norris said calmly on the other side of the room.
He had awoken in the midst of the

conversation and had been listening intently to both sides. "First
of all, Terra, you claim to be sleeping

and yet you have possession of this bracelet, which was claimed to
have been lost near midnight.

The question now is, were you asleep the whole night until now? Or
have you been snooping around

and sleeping, half and half?

"Both."

"You must explain full details on how you discovered this bracelet."

"Hahah, this might be offensive to both Zen, and his sister. Zen's
sister, who was sitting quietly, staring

out the window had now suddenly joined the conversation.

"Offensive why?" she said abruptly.

"Just listen. I was not woken, but was half asleep when I heard
commotion in the hall. As I walked out

I saw Zen, and his sister, messing around." Zen's left fist
tightened and his left hand gripped the table

so hard that his knuckles turned white.

"And as they messed around, to their room, one of them dropped a
bracelet, which happens to belong

to Zen's sister. I, being a generous person, took it to this room,
and put it in this cabinet, so that

no one would steal it, and that Zen and his sister would get it back safely.

"And yet you did not see fit to just return it to us when you found
it?" Zen shouted sharply.

"I was afraid to trouble you."

"Why you-"

Commotion cluttered around the room as Zen threw punches at Terra,
each one strong enough to break

through concrete walls. Terra tried to dodge one blow that was
coming at him, but was to slow and was

hit, sending him flying toward Norris, who caught him and planted
him back on the ground.

"Gentlemen," Norris said sternly, while flipping them both over
with his arms. They laid pinned to the

ground, by Norris's feet. "Unless you gentlemen work it out, I'm
afraid I'll have to stand here. As

much as I like to sleep in a bed, I can sleep standing up, now
confront this matter and settle it!"

Zen glared at Terra and spitted at him. Terra glared back, with the
saliva dripping down his face.

"And I thought you were honorable."

"Love does not affect honor. What you were doing was speaking secrets!"

"To protect you."

"Protect me from what!" Zen scoffed.

"Same thing that happened to you, on your first time." Zen's face
softened, the veins in his neck

disappeared.

"I have over-reacted."

"And I have spread a secret no one wants to know."

"It's fine, she's not my sister anyway. I call her my sister just
so people don't think we are actually . . ."

"Aye . . . wait, what?"

"You heard me"

"I'm not sure I heard you clear enough"

"Yes you did"

"Don't start another argument over hearing"

"Hey," Zen said warningly.

"I guess you gentlemen are done, good night." Norris said simply,
and stalked back to his bed.

"I guess good night Zen, have fun." Terra said.

"I'll try."

Chapter 2 : War

"Get up, get up you slugs! They're coming!" Screamed a soldier from
a nearby tower.

"Where's Zen?!" Shouted the commander.

"Reports say he and 2 companions headed to an elf town 40mi from here!"

"Blast it, they blocked our reinforcements, and Zen is not here."
The commander said, muttering to

himself. "Get the men ready for battle, we'll teach these undead."
The commander growled, his grin

shaping both his eyes. He stalked to a nearby wall. 400 yards away,
the first undead scourge had raised

its sword and was sprinting at the base.
----------------------------------------------

Chapter 3 : Call of Duty

Zen woke refreshed, not displeased nor pleased with last night's
events, and glad for last night's events

to have turned out gladly. Beside him laid his new love, sleeping
soundly on the feathered bed.

Dawn . . .. The name rolled off his tongue. This was his
love's name. Zen took a brief moment to examine his near
surroundings. On the left was a nice

diamond window, burgundy drapes shielded view from outside. And to
the right was a huge cabinet door, useful for storing many large
items that take too

much space elsewhere. The point of the cabinet was that when you
stored a large item, per say a 8 foot long chest inside the
cabinet, it would reduce

the size of the item by almost 90%, and the effect would last for
80 minutes, after you take the item out of your bag. This was used
only for storing large

items, not for little items, such as a key chain, as it would
become to small, and would be very easily lost. To the front of the
room was a double door, locked

from the inside of course, to keep out intruders. Next to Zen laid
his sword. The nice Krystal sword

gleamed in the morning light. The sword was his life, as it saved
him from many dangers, as if it was

alive. He got off the bed slowly, careful not to awake Dawn. He
was peaceful now, away from danger of

any kind. Ever since he had avenged Tigris, he had felt more
relaxed, and calm, and more aware of

his surroundings. Just when he finally felt relaxed, he heard one
bugle cry, unnaturally loud. Zen cursed

at his bad luck. He pushed aside the drapes that obscured his view
to the outside world. His keen eyes

spotted a single rider, carrying a flag. Blood Elves. The
very word made his body cold. They always

needed help, the spineless cowards. The number or requests for help
had reached over 15 already.

Shouting from outside his room was heard, stumbling, and cussing,
tripping, and falling.

"Norris!" Terra's voice echoed through the hallway. "Hear that?
Blood Elves! I've never seen one!"

"There isn't much thrill once you actually meet one." Norris
responded back, not too happy about

the newcomer's arrival.

"What did he do? Beat you in a game of chess?"

"No . . . tic-tac toe."

Muffled laughter indicated Terra's struggle to suppress laughter,
but was not altogether successful.

Norris's eyes narrowed toward Terra, and for a second, he thought
of smacking Terra in the face, just to

shut him up. Footsteps in front of them were dimly heard in the
hallway. Norris knocked 3x, gently on

Zen's door. 2 seconds later, it opened, and Zen's face appeared.

"I know," he said quickly, and quickly stepped out. A few moments
later, the messenger appeared.

He wore ragged gray clothes, and leather boots. His face smeared
with dirt by constant running. His

pants were those of a military scout. He had brilliant blue eyes,
and raven black hair.

Relief spread across his face as he saw the 3 companions.

"Thank goodness I-"

"What do you need now, blood elf." Zen said coldly. The messenger
seemed insulted.

"Why, phff, why I came to request assistance from you, to aid my
commander, General Tang."

"Why should I assist him? I've already assisted him 15x this year,
no, these past 6 months."

"Sir! Please listen. The undead from Kalister have arrived on the
shores of Bistus! Hordes of them!

Battalions! Hundreds of thousands!"

"And I was glad to see this messenger before. Now I'm worried about
even going to that battlefield, it

must be a thousand fold larger than the one with Evland." Terra
murmured to Norris, who merely inclined

his head toward the messenger.

"This is a grievous time for Bistus, for I have heard of the dead,
and undead piling up on the shores of

the humans and high elves." Norris said.

"Then will you come to our cause? Please." The messenger said. He
extended his hand as if he if was

going to shake hands with an important ambassador, then closed his
hand, forming a fist. Pity

swelled inside Zen as he watched the young warrior. He took his
Krystal sword, which he had brought

out of the room when the messenger had arrived. Extending the sword
toward the messenger, he said,

"You have my sword, I will come, for you only, but not for your commander."

Terra followed Zen, as did Norris, after a brief hesitation.
Enormous swarms of gratitude filled the

messenger's face at their willingness to aid him. Tears welled at
his eyes, and he knelt on the floor,

and wiped his tears with his sleeves.

--------------------------------------------------------

Chapter 4 - Gone with the Wind.

"General they breached the first wall!"

"Shut up! I'm not blind! How much cavalry do we have left!"

"300!"

"Good enough for me! Send them outside the walls, and have them
strike at the backs of the undead!"

"Aye sir!"

The messenger rushed to the stables, where a number of 300 men
awaited, anxious to be given orders.

"General has given orders for you to ride out the gates, and strike
in the very back of the undead. If

you succeed, we may have a chance to survive to see next fall! And
remember to burn the corpses of

our slain brethren, or they will rise as undead!"

"Aye!" sang the chorus of 300 men. As they leaped upon their horses
and raced out through the east

gate, the messenger hurried back to the commander.

"Sir, the order has been given, sir!"

"Good, where's Zen?"

"The first messenger hasn't come back, we assume they may be
delayed by the evacuation of nearby

towns."

"Damn it," the general swore under his breath. "How much men do we have left."

"Considering the force we sent out to the gate? Well . . . What was
it? You sent 300 spear men, and 200

swordsmen? And plus the cavalry, about 800 strong."

"Casualties?"

"At the minimum, we have over 300 decapitated, or bitten. The
healers don't have enough energy to heal

anymore. The high elves are 150mi away, when our last messenger
came back, so they may be only

60mi away by now."

"Not enough time, not enough time!" The general swore, his gray
beard covered in black gore. " Prepare

the men for evacuation. Get the wounded out, send 150 healers with
them. The rest, stay here and hold

them off as long as we can. When it becomes inevitable that we will
lose, and that no reinforcements

have come, we will evacuate all personnel."

"Sir." The messenger said with a bow, face turning white, and he
descended down the hill.
------------------------------------------------

Chapter 5 - Honor

Teken was a soldier in the battle between the scourge and the blood
elves. He was taught how to weild

a sword at 4, and how to master it at 9, but yet his skills did not
match those of Zen's, Terra's, or Norris.

"Teken! Get over here and defend the left flank of the army! The
scourge are pushing forward harder over

there, as the wall on the left flank is only made of wood!"

"Drasken," Teken cursed. Would they never leave?. The undead
scourge took heavy casualties

as they tried to scale the 40 foot wall of the base. But as they
reached the fight, the numerous number

of blood elves that were slain, had turned into the scourge
themselves, and were now wreaking terror

upon the encampment.

"Battalion 4, request for assistance at left flank, wooden gate,
8th panel!" Teken shouted in the mental

connection that bound them with his comrades.

"Reporting, reporting," a comrade answered back, "Heading to destination."

Teken reached the left flank, to see only half of his original comrades there.

"Where is Tlarn?"

"He was eaten to death by 4 dead mortifiers."

"Where's Tarn?"

"Stabbed in the heart with a claw of undead."

"Last of all, where is Jess?"

"Gone, disappeared, last seen riding with cavalry force to hit
behind lines of scourge."

"Damn it," Teken swore. "The left flank is up to us to keep it from
intruders. As you can see, the stairway

leading to the top of the wall is guarded by 100 of our swordsmen,
ready to stab at any dead/undead

enemies that scale the wall. But it's not to last, as the central
gate has been breached. The idiot scourge

decided to take the hard way in. But we'll get them! After we are
done facing off any intruders, we will

jump over this wall, and attack the scourge from behind, at the central gate!"

"Aye sir!" shouted the 3 men in unison. As Teken reached the top of
the wall, he already saw nearly 300

scourge scaling the wall. We'll never be able to withstand this
attack!
.

"Wait for it!" Teken shouted. "Wait for it!"

The scourge grew closer. Only 15 feet away now, scaling over 25
feet in less than 10 seconds.

"Wait for it!" Teken shouted again. They were now 8 feet away. "Now!"

A fury of 153 swords launched them selves at the first line of
scourge. Seconds later, 153 scourge fell

back down the wall, knocking down 50 others.

"Again!" Teken shouted. With a fury of strength and will, the
soldiers took down the remaining scourge.

There can't be that few trying to scale this wall, it's the
weakest!
. Teken thought to soon, for he

saw 8000 more scourge advance forward toward the left flank of the base.

"Holy sh-"

Chapter 6 - Not too late, or too early.

"This way, this way," the messenger said eagerly, afraid that he
wasn't fast enough for the others.

"Yes I know, I've taken this path 15x already . . ." Zen said.

"It should be only a couple more miles," the messenger said.

As they came into view of the base, Zen stood shocked, by the real
urgency of this request.

"How are we supposed to get into the base?" He said.

"I don't think we are supposed to get in, merely attack from
outside?" Norris said.

"No, no," the messenger said, mixing words up. "General said to
meet him inside the base."

"We can't even get 80 feet close to that base! There must be
8,000,000 things around there!" Terra

screamed, eyes blood shot.

"Hold on, hold on, I think I see something," Norris said calmly,
seeming unaffected by the sight that laid

before him. He referred to the group of cavalry that was racing
toward a large group of scourge, who were

seemingly unaware to the charging newcomers. Seconds later, the
cavalry collided with the scourge in

a series of bloody blows to both sides, but in the end, the cavalry
were not to be denied, they had

the advantages and surprise. Only taking a few casualties, the
cavalry moved onto another group,

also eliminating that. Zen quietly stalked up to the group, his
Krystal sword in hand. When he reached

the group, he shouted,

"Who goes there?"

Seconds later, the group of cavalry men surrounded Zen, spears
pointed at him, ready to meet flesh

if anything should go wrong. Zen took no notice of it at all.

"I am Zen, and was requested here by General Tang." He said. After
hearing the first 3 words of his

sentence, the cavalry force raised their spears, with relief, but
some doubt, in their faces.

"Good," said the leader of the cavalry force, "I'll take you to him."

"My friends should come to, they're with me, requested by the
messenger as well," Zen said.

The cavalry force commander ordered 2 heavy cavalry men to escort
the rest of his companions along

with him. As they passed the gate, constant shouting and blows were
not unheard. Screams of dieing

men floated around, and the metallic clanging of swords against
claws were like instruments of music.

Both musical and horrible to Zen, he was forced to block the sound
from his ears, rendering him deaf

until he was presented to the General. Crossing through a pathway
of tents, wounded men were seen

everywhere. Some were injured to badly that they had to be put to
death, ending their pain.

Blood was spilled everywhere, its color dampened the dirt as if the
dirt had been the same color for

years. Unable to look at the gruesome sight, Zen focused his eyes
on the Cavalry Leader's back.

As they reached the pavilion of the General, the Cavalry leader
remained outside, and motioned him

inside with his hand. Lifting the folds with his hand, Zen entered
the pavilion, where a old bed, and a

rotting wood counter stood. Nothing else was inside. In the corner
of the pavilion, the General stood,

back turned to Zen.

"I've been waiting for you," he said in a hoarse voice.

"And I have come, what do you want me to do," Zen replied.

"Do whatever you need, just drive them away," Was the General's
command. Zen withdrew from the

pavilion and walked back toward his companions, who stood waiting
at the largest medical tent.

"Stop the scourge, at any cost and any way." Zen said gravely, his
voice breaking between words. "

Norris, I need you to go on the right flank, Terra to the center,
I'll go to the left, good luck to you all."

As they all parted their ways, Zen past the old rotting wood of the
left flank. Streams of black and red

blood streamed down the sides of the wood. Vomiting almost twice
before he got to the left flank,

he spotted over 100 dead blood elves, dead, and lying at the top of
the wall, half of their bodies hanging

over the edge of the wall. Only few remained, fighting off the
initial strike. Of the few that remained were

Teken, and his 3 comrades from earlier. As Zen ascended the stairs,
Teken heard him, and in a whirl of

speed and fury, spun around and touched the tip of his sword point
to Zen's neck, waiting for anything

out of ordinary to happen, and then he would embed the metal into Zen.

"Whoah, watch it," Zen replied, amazed at the soldier's agility.

"Who are you, what is your name, where did you come from," was
Teken's simple reply.

"OK . . .pushy,"

"Just answer them, I have a battle to continue,"

"I was born over 800 years ago, my name is Zen, and I was born in
the Valley of Ekcho.

Disbelief fluttered in Teken's eyes. You're Zen, the Zen?

"That I am."

Metal clanged against the ground as Teken dropped his sword,
stunned by the appearance of a legend,

a myth.

"We. . . well . . . your timing is perfect, we are about done with
this side of the flank, and are moving to

the central door, to strike the undead from behind."

"Mind if I come?"

"It would be a pleasure."

As they brought up the ladders, Zen slowly became friends with
Teken, admiring the boy's lively manner

and politeness. Once the ladders were hung over the wall, they
slowly began descending, often making

a few slips there and now. When all were assembled on the ground,
which was wreaked with black blood,

they began to take off sprinting at the central gate, where a swarm
of undead huddled, completely

isolating any men coming out. As the quickly, and quietly
approached the mass group, Teken

signaled with 2 fingers to initiate the charge. Before them, lay a
4000 undead group.

With a cry of fury and anger, Teken charged, sword above his head,
and brought it on top of an undead

mortifier's skull.

Chapter 7 - F*** This

Terra had reached the central gate, guarded by over 200 blood
elves. This was garrisoned the most as

this was where the main attack was. The scout on the tower had
reported disturbance in the back on

the undead group, but this didn't trouble Terra. Just another feast
probably, no need to worry, not like

Zen or some important new friend is down there. Then out of the
corner of his eye, Terra spotted

dark black hair whipping in with the wind. Zen!

"Fuck!" Terra shouted. "Get men down there! GET THEM OUT!"

"SIR THAT'S SUICIDE!"

"THAT'S AN ORDER, GET YOUR ASS DOWN THERE!"

"SIR!"

"SHUT UP SOLDIER, ZEN IS DOWN THERE AND IF YOU DON'T STOP, I'LL
HAVE YOU REPORTED TO THE

GENERAL."

" . . . Aye sir. What a loser

"You're still within my telepathic connection link."

"Eh, sorry sir, will not happen again,"

"Get your sorry ass down there and assist Zen."

"Aye sir."

Seconds later, 200 men were assembled, swords bared high, snarls
gripped their faces.

"On the count of 3, we make for the door." Terra shouted. Gore
wreaked his armor, face was struck with

black blood.

"1, 2, 3, GO," He cried. In a cry of fury, all warriors launched
themselves at the gate, which was opened

by 4 supporting blood elves. Catching the undead by surprise, the
first 100 fell to a fury of blows.

The second line of undead were prepared, but only succeeded in
raising their sharp claws half way before

they were stabbed. The next line was more prepared, with claws
already slashing downward at a few

unsuspecting blood elves. 14 blood elves fell. Terra rushed
forward, sword in hand. He slashed downward

upon an undead mortifier's skull, lopping it in half, then with a
turn of wrist, slashed horizontal,

beheading the foul being. As 2 undead surrounded him, Terra lunged
forward at the undead in front of

him, with the sword in its chest, he pulled it out and turned the
sword around, and stabbed directly

at the mortifier who was about to strike him from behind. Without
even looking at the mortifier, he pulled

the sword out and advanced forward. He spun around, sword extended
as he did, and cut 8 undead in

half, chest separated from the lower part of its body.

Zen was tired, exhausted by the longer part of the fight that
stretched ahead of him. The fight was

almost 2 hours long already. How will I keep up?A desperate
longing for the battle to end gripped Zen

has he hacked down numerous numbers of Undead, which always seem to
rise up again. forget

this
, he said to himself, frustration boiling up inside the warrior,

"KEEL!" He shouted. A fiery ball of fire shot of out of his hand
and launched itself toward the enemies.

The force of the magic was incredibly powerful, sending over 1000
of them flying up in the sky.

Crap, I've never used that much energy before to convert into
magic, frustration must have

overcome me and made me use that enormous amount of magic. I am so
stupid! Why the hell did I do

that?
Muttering to himself, he quickly slashed down 3 more
mortifiers before helping out the blood

elves take down 10 more. As the battle in the central gate grew to
an end, due to attacking the undead

on both sides, Zen swung his sword forward, catching itself onto an
awkward shield. As he tried with

all his might to pull it out, an undead stepped up with a long
traditional blood elf blade, which he had

pried from a dead blood elf, and stabbed it through Zen's stomach.
The blade felt like a rigid splash of

cold water to Zen. He opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came
out. His eyes became redder than

normal, and his veins pulsed through his head. He collapsed onto
his 2 knees, the undead staring at him

like an idiot.

"Die in hell biiiitchhhh," the undead hissed, his eyes savoring his
kill. His pungent breath shook the

breath out of Zen.

"No I won't. I have a love, whom I will not leave. I have 2
companions, whom I will not leave,

I have a destiny, and I will not leave that also, but you, you are
already in hell, look at yourself!

You have NO destiny, except for death," Zen strained out.

The undead twisted the blade, severing more of the meat inside Zen.

"You deserve thisssss . . . after you murdered my friends, you
deserve thisssss."

Zen slowly pulled the blade out of his stomach, his body screaming
with protest at every second.

As the sword finally came out of him, limps of his crimson meat
stuck to the sword. Zen tasted blood

to his mouth, his wound still bleeding. My destiny . . . A
startled cry shouted behind him. It was

Terra.

"Zen! NO GOD DAMN IT ZEN!" Terra screamed, severing the undead that tortured Zen in half.

"No Terra," Zen said, half smiling, "It's my destiny."

"NO, NO, NO, YOU CAN CHANGE DESTINY,"

"No," Zen said chuckling quietly. "If you're about to die, but you
re-awake and you're alive, it's because

it is all ONE destiny, that was just part of your destiny that you
were to experience. Promise me this,

do not mourn my death, it will make me sad if you do."

"Zen . . ." Terra said, tears streaming down his face.

"Promise me this."

Zen's hand grew cold, his face pale. With a final shudder, Zen
closed his eyes, and was still.

"NO GOD DAMN IT," Terra shouted. He ran into a crowd of 100 undead,
not fearing for his life. "No, No,

No!" He cried, as he decapitated the heads of the 100 of undead. As
the ruined pile of bodies piled,

the Undead for once felt fear in their hearts, something they had
never felt in over 10,000 years.

"Back, back," they hissed, " Or we will slaughter you!"

"You could have slaughtered me a while ago, but no, YOU SLAUGHTERED
MY FRIEND," Terra shouted, his

veins pulsing out of his head. As he loped off 4 more undead's
heads, the rest fled, leaving traces of

their footmarks in the dirt. Celebrations of cheers and whoops
shouted throughout the base.

The cavalry on the outside of the walls rode around in circles, and
Norris stood on the right flank of the

base. He studied Terra. Something was wrong. The connection between
him and Terra was severed by

Terra himself. All though it was severed, Norris could feel the
aching inside of Terra. He had to get

to Terra quickly. Sprinting at full speed down the stairs, Norris
passed dozens of celebrating warriors.

As he passed the hospitals, the crying healers cried out to the
heavens that they were saved.

Almost there. In a few moments, Norris had passed the central
gates and arrived near Terra.

But not before he saw a corpse. A corpse familiar to him. It
can't be.
Zen? . . .

There was no mistake. It was Zen. The fierce warrior that had
fought beside them, their loyal leader.

"Terra," Norris said, stepping over dead bodies. He extended his
hand toward Terra, who sat on the floor

with tears streaming down his face. "Terra, I-"

"You what? GOD DAMN WHAT? YOU DIDN'T DO CRAP. STANDING ON THE
FUCKING WALL WATCHING

THE FUCKING BATTLE TAKE PLACE WHILE ZEN FUCKING DIED IN THIS
FUCKING BATTLEFIELD."

"Terra, quiet, calm your-"

"I DON'T WANT TO FUCKING CALM DOWN, YOU FUCKING BASTARD! YOU STOOD
ON THAT FUCKING

WALL, AND DIDN'T DO CRAP." Terra screamed, eyes blood shot, and
streams of black blood streaming

down his forehead. "YOU FUCKING COWARD. YOU WILL NEVER BE HALF THE
MAN ZEN WAS."

Terra hit himself in the head with his fist repeatedly, obviously
out of his mind for the moment.

Norris sat himself down next to the tree. There was no point in
arguing with Terra right now, he was

simply out of control for the moment. The sun had turned red,
always a sign that enormous amount

of blood had been spilled. His heart was full of grief, and Norris
plucked an apple from the tree, and

slowly began biting it.

The past is done, we cannot change destiny.Norris closed his
eyes, and shut out the woes of the

world.

Chapter 8 - I'm getting my fucking revenge, but I need to do
something personal . . . first . . .
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Terra looked upward toward the night sky. This was the night Zen
had died. The last time Terra

would ever be with Zen. Terra picked up Zen's sword, which he had
excavated from his fallen leader.

It's marking on the sword coat said, Destiny is what you make it.

If only it were true.Terra closed his eyes. A single tear fell out.

"Terra," said a commanding voice. "Terra," it repeated again.

"What," Terra muttered, eyes still closed. "Do you know not to
leave a warrior alone when he has

suffered grief?"

"We'll be counter-attacking the undead in 1 weeks time. Will you come?"

"Let me ponder that idea," Terra said simply, and he rolled onto
his side, and closed his eyes. He dreamt

that he had taken the place of Zen's death. And for some strange
reason, it lifted his heart.

Terra woke refreshed, but not all together ready to work. I'll
visit Dawn. Tell her the news myself.

She is very pretty too, now that Zen's gone . . .
Nasty ideas
filled his head for a brief moment, but

Terra shook them away. She was Zen's, not his. Even when Zen was
gone, he would respect his leader's

life. But the idea of her, naked before him would spring within his mind.

"I hate myself. I wish I could kill myself," Terra told himself.
"It would end my suffering, and the

thoughts that are occurring right now. Terra picked up a knife, and
for a brief moment, thought of a

suicide attempt.

"I continue with life, and take what I can," Terra told himself.
"That means I take Dawn as well?"

No, a voice whispered inside him. Don't listen to yourself,
listen to your heart.
It was as if

an force was controlling Terra's ability for independent speech,
while another was occupying his

mind.

"You need her," the voice said, forcing Terra to speak it. "You've
liked her the first day you saw her.

Take the advantage while you still have it."

No Terra, respect your leader. RESPECT. THE WORD YOU HAVE LIVED BY!

The two forces faded from Terra. His body was his again.

"I make a choice," Terra said, muttering to himself. "I continue
with life. And take what I can. . .

and that includes Dawn."

Chapter 9 - Forced Love
--------------------------

Terra had walked down this path twice before. He needed not a
guide, nor Norris, ( whom he wished not

to meet), to guide him. He reached the Night Elf camp before the
sun had risen to the middle of the sky.

It was the same, but without the rituals from before. A campfire
lit the middle of the camp.

Houses were on both sides of the fire, and the main household
stretched behind the fire. It's

beauty stunned Terra again.

Dawn ran out to meet him, but froze midway.

"Where is Zen?" She asked. A shadow of haunted hints spread across her face.

"He. . .h. . . he's-" Terra started.

"Gone? Dead?" Dawn asked, interrupting Terra's speech.

Terra confirmed the question with a nod. He saw Dawn's eyes brim with tears.

"I. . .I-" She broke off running away toward the tall house behind her.

"Dawn!" Terra shouted, chasing after her. He grabbed her by the
shoulders and pinned her to the ground.

Her shirt tore up toward her breast. But her private details were
still hidden by a second shirt.

Terra froze. The two forces were coming back. But this time, both
were in his head.

Come on Terra . . . this is your moment.

No Terra, for Zen! Do not listen to him! Stay away from her! You
cannot-

Listen to your feelings Terra. You will not regret it . . .

Terra regained sense, and looked at Dawn, who was still panting
after her fast sprint. Terra slowly bent

down, sweating in his face. Dawn must've sensed his actions, and
turned her face away from him.

Terra did an unforgivable move. He ripped her shirt off, revealing
what was underneath that shirt.

With a evil laugh, and ignoring Dawn's cries for him to stop. He
bent down toward her. . .

She was beautiful, her belly, everything . . . irresistible.

Chapter 9 - Holy fuck is that Zen?
------------

Dawn struggled, but was overcome by Terra, who was a strong
warrior. He kissed her neck, and slowly

went down.

"Get off me! You stupid oaf!" She shouted, tears were now
completely streaming down her face. "You

were Zen's friend. Now look what you are doing when he's gone!"

Terra froze. She struck at his core.

"You are right, but I have discovered, that you move on with life,
and take what you desire, for the best."

Terra whispered, enjoying the horrified look on Dawn's face.
